In 2022, the Epping School District initiated a comprehensive plan to enhance sustainability and reduce energy consumption in its educational facilities. Partnering with Energy Management Consultants, they conducted a thorough audit, leading to the selection of a Phase I project. This project focuses on integrating energy-efficient technologies such as lighting, smart building systems, and a high-efficiency boiler plant at the Elementary School. The district’s commitment to environmental responsibility and improving the learning environment is evident in this strategic undertaking. The aforementioned project resulted in $83,977 a year in energy savings, an EVERSOURCE incentive of $60,195.00 and an annual payment that is 100% paid by savings!
