Long Cadillac, a returning customer who is proud to be the oldest continually-owned Cadillac dealership in the country serving Framingham & Boston communities for over eight decades.
EMC completed Long Cadillac’s first lighting upgrade in 2013 which included the interior and exterior of their Southborough facility. This upgrade has since resulted in an annual kWh savings of ~190,000 kWh.
The upgrade included retrofits and replacements of existing biax and standard T8 technology with more efficient T8 volumetric kits along with high efficiency LED recessed cans, shoeboxes and floods.
The customer was able to take advantage of NGRID’s Prescriptive Lighting program which paid out incentives nearing $22,000.00.
With a short 3.3 year simple payback Long Cadillac has achieved a 30% return on their investment.
Along with numerous environmental benefits, this one facility alone reduced the emission of sulfur dioxide by 2,229 pounds.
