In 2022, Winthrop School District partnered with Energy Management Consultants for a strategic initiative to boost sustainability and reduce energy consumption. A comprehensive audit led to the identification of a Phase I project, focusing on integrating advanced, energy-efficient technologies like lighting, smart building systems, and high-efficiency boiler plants at each facility. This emphasizes the district’s commitment to environmental and financial responsibility and optimizing learning environments.
