EMC has built strong partnerships with utility companies throughout the Northeast to deliver comprehensive, multi-measure energy projects that reduce consumption and improve facility performance.
Together, we implement integrated, whole-building solutions across lighting, HVAC, mechanical systems, controls, electrical infrastructure, and renewable energy. Utility partners rely on our commitment to quality design, verified savings, compliant installation, and measurable results.
By aligning our technical expertise with utility program requirements, EMC helps clients maximize incentives and successfully execute large-scale energy upgrades.

Efficiency Maine
EMC is a long-standing Qualified Partner with Efficiency Maine, meeting established performance and program standards each year.
In addition to standard incentive programs, EMC actively monitors and participates in Funding Opportunity Notices (FONs) issued by Efficiency Maine. These competitive funding opportunities provide enhanced or supplemental incentives for specific technologies, sectors, or large-scale projects.
We have been recognized with honors such as Partner of the Year and Most kWh Savings Achieved, reflecting our continued commitment to delivering measurable results for Maine customers.
By staying engaged with both standard programs and special funding initiatives, EMC ensures our customers benefit from the most current and advantageous Efficiency Maine opportunities available.

NH Saves – New Hampshire Utility Programs

Through NH Saves programs, eligible customers may qualify for substantial incentive funding to support projects such as lighting, HVAC, mechanical systems, controls, and other efficiency measures.
EMC works with participating New Hampshire utilities including:
- Eversource (Preferred Vendor)
- Unitil
- New Hampshire Electric Cooperative (NHEC)
- Liberty Utilities

EMC has partnered with National Grid since 2001, serving as a Project Expeditor within its energy efficiency programs. Through this long-standing relationship, we work closely with National Grid Account Managers and program representatives to deliver viable, sustainable energy reduction projects for municipal, small business, commercial, and industrial customers.
Our collaboration with National Grid has helped customers secure substantial incentive funding while contributing to annual kWh reduction goals and statewide energy efficiency targets.
For more than two decades, EMC has remained committed to delivering high-quality designs, compliant installations, and measurable results in partnership with National Grid.
In addition to our core utility relationships throughout New England, EMC maintains working relationships with several other regional efficiency program administrators. These partnerships position us to expand services and support customers across a broader geographic footprint as opportunities arise.

Efficiency Vermont
EMC works within the Efficiency Vermont program framework to support qualifying energy efficiency projects for municipal, commercial, and industrial customers. We assist with measure qualification, incentive coordination, and savings documentation to help customers access available funding.

NYSEG & RG&E
EMC is familiar with the energy efficiency programs administered by New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E). While we do not currently operate extensively within these territories, we maintain the capability and program knowledge necessary to support customers seeking to implement qualifying energy projects.
As incentive programs evolve and project opportunities expand, EMC is positioned to increase engagement within these utility territories to better serve customers throughout the Northeast.
