Over the years, EMC has partnered with the various utility companies throughout the Northeast states. We have a mutual objective of providing excellent customer service to our customers and implementing energy efficiency projects to reduce energy consumption. The utility companies continue to rely on our commitment to quality designs, verified savings and installation, and customer satisfaction.
As one of the original Project Expediters back in 2001, EMC became a preferred vendor and worked with National Grid Account Managers to deliver viable and sustainable energy reduction projects to their customer base. In working together, National Grid has been able to meet rising annual kWh reduction goals and help to maintain high state efficiency ratings every year. EMC maintains a Lead Project Expediter status with National Grid promoting all of today’s incentive programs earning partnership awards nearly every year.
Efficiency Maine formed a Qualified Partner organization several years ago to promote incentive programs throughout the State of Maine. While this program is not exclusive to a select number of partners, special requirements must be met to be a Qualified Partner. EMC renews this partnership with Efficiency Maine annually and is often awarded recognitions such as Partner of the Year, Contractor of the Year, Most kWh Savings Achieved. EMC will continue to deliver many projects to our Maine customers while securing all applicable incentives for our mutual customers.
Eversource has several territories and programs, all of which EMC does business with. In NH however, Eversource has a focused Small Business/Direct Install Program which EMC was awarded a partnership with several years ago. This program allocates a specific budget of incentive dollars to customers with kW usage under 200. Eversource and EMC want these Small Business customers to be able to secure high efficiency products and with the help of a 50/50 incentive, this reality becomes a lot more feasible.
